Description

SLP runners are the only runners that will fit and function properly on the Powder Pro, Mohawk & SLT (straight line tracking) Skis.

Loose snow/Aggressive Trail/Mountain riding options:

  • Best carbide runners for aggressive trail and loose snow conditions. 75° carbides for long life, 60° for those who prefer a steeper more aggressive angle.
  • These carbides cannot be used with the #35-121 keel blade.
  • 4" for mountain riding/boondocking and minimal trail riding.
  • 6" for a good all around runner.
  • 9" for a lake runner/racing/trail sled with studs.
Hard Pack/Trail riding (Keel blade):

  • New for '12 is the Keel blade & Combo, includes both the 4" x 75º trail carbide and the keel blade.
  • Best trail runner combination is the use of SP35127 Carbide Runner in conjunction with the SP35121 Keel Blade. This combination, along with the SLP ski designs, achieves the maximum reduction of tracking and darting, with minimal arm effort.
New Woody's ACE Runners:
  • Woody's ACE runners use a rectangular shaped host bar with 60º carbide inserts. The rectangular shape allows for the host bar to be narrow (3/8") on the width which makes the runner more aggressive by reducing the surface area to provide more penetration into the packed snow and ice below the trail surface. The ACE runners are less sensitive to "darting" and hunting for existing tracks resulting in a more stable trail ride cutting in and out of ruts. Available in 8" or 6" carbide.

I haven't actually used them yet but they look like a good carbide runner. Solid and fit well.
